Wool Scrap Bag Sale, New Releases, Lucky Friday and more!

Greetings from the Basin!  Lots of fun new things to share with you today!  First up-- who doesn't love a SALE?!  Our first ever wool scrap bag sale begins today!  We cut thousands of kits each month and well, sometimes our scrap bins fill to overflowing!  Many of you have asked for wool "scraps" (such a poor choice of wording, since we all know what a TREASURE it is to have those random bits just waiting for our next projects!!).  So, we've made up some wool scrap bags, and for three days only, they are on sale!  Regularly $14.95, on sale for $10, today through Sunday!  Each bag is 6" by 9" and filled with bits and pieces of the very wool we use here in our kits!  It's a fabulous start to a new collection, or to add to an existing stash!  Piece sizes vary but every piece is useable!  Check them out here:      Once again this week, we've added new wool and fabric bundles!  We've been loving our new Japanese fabric, and these cute little wool bundles are to "DYE" for!  (Plus the names are just as cute!  "Sunshiny Day," anyone?  The sun is all that's getting us through these frigid, snowy APRIL days!)  There is also a new thread pack available, with gorgeous spring colors in the softest wool available!  So many fun things! I know you are all anxiously awaiting this month's new releases in your favorite series!  Today we release our May Vintage Table Runner Thru the Year, as well as the May center circle in our Welcome Home Collection! And here is the next Vintage Camper Thru the Year, as well as the most recent from the "Gathered Hearts" series, as well as "Chalk It Up!" Saving some of the most exciting news for last...Stacy is thrilled to share a sneak peek of her NEW book from Martingale Publications, "The Best of Buttermilk Basin."   "A smidge of vintage, a splash of folk art, a pop of color, and a pinch of patchwork - that's the recipe for creating the coveted Buttermilk Basin style. With bits of wool, cotton, and thread, Stacy West brings 17 charming projects to life, and they couldn't be easier to create. Open Shop Dates Coming Up!

Hello!  Just popping in to remind everyone that next week is our next Open Shop!  Our retail space will be open Thursday through Saturday, with Make-It-Take-It sessions at 10, noon, and 2.  Call soon to reserve your space-- space is limited and the 10 am session is already full!  Make-It-Take-It projects are $10 each.

Second announcement, Woolstock 2018 is officially FULL!  However, we'd like to get a gauge on how much additional interest there may be, so if you did want to attend, feel free to call the shop to be added to a waiting list!

WOOLapalooza, NEW Offerings & More!!!!!!!!!

We have lots to catch up on... so let's get started!

First off, I have been busy designing!!!  We have a TON of NEW offerings from new patterns, kits, wool bundles to new thread collections online!  If you haven't visited us lately... now is a GREAT time to!  Not to mention, we are prepping for our BIG "WOOL"apalooza  Online Event starting next Friday!  Lot's of fun things are also on the horizon!

Fist, I am going to share our "Simply Scalloped" monthly mat series with you!  These come in 2 shapes and each month the motif changes to match the month/season!  These are smaller & work up in a jiffy!







We also have added NEW wool bundles & gorgeous threads for you on our website!!







Then we have started a super cool NEW series, called Vintage"Glampers"!  This series is a MUST for all of you who LOVED our Vintage Truck's thru the Year!  These are round mats featuring a different vintage camper each month with monthly themed motifs!!! Too cute!



If you are a fan of embroidery, we are excited to let you know that we are bringing that back to our line as well!  Here is a NEW series called " "Stitch & Piece" Monthly Runners!  It is fun, fresh & even includes some touches of wool!

FREE Mystery BOM REvEAL, FREE Sew-A-Long, NEW Patterns, kits & wool!

Hello!  I hope you all are staying warm on these chilly winter days!  

Since it has been sooo cold... we have been staying warm & busy inside!  

We can't wait to share our new BOM's, patterns & wool with you!  Let's check them out!

First off... We here is the "reveal" of our Buttermilk Homestead 2018, "MYSTERY" Block of the Month!  This one will be completely different & oh, so fun!  It also will feature my new fabric, wool & yarn dyes!  So be ready each month, as we have many gorgeous blocks ahead!  

So what did I put on the website yesterday????  All "good stuff"!  Here's some of it... the NEW 2018 Buttermilk Homestead "MYSTERY" BOM, new wool bundles and the coolest "Welcome" HOME pattern & kits!  This is so "out of the box" & stunning!  Again, I LOVE playing on my "words"!!!  Each month I will be designing a new center circle for the letter "O", which is actually a scalloped penny mat!  I have came up with 3 versions of this, so we can cater this "must have" design to all of you!  Once you make your base design {either a woolen runner, wall hanging or scalloped mat} all you need to go is purchase our monthly circle pattern/kit to make & change out each month!  The circle features a monthly themed design.  Minimal work... but stunning results in a jiffy!  Hop over to the our site & check it out!!!

We also added thread kits for the bom & "Welcome" HOME bases.  These threads are highly suggested since they really make the project!  We have hanger options for the "Welcome" HOME wall hanging that are coming in next week that we will be adding to the website.  Also, if there is anything you ever need... just give us a jingle at the shop!  We'll do our best to assist you!

On the shop front... Jess is out for a month, as her son is having surgery on both hips, Kelly is out with bronchitis & an ear infection... while 2 others are just getting back from vacation!  Diana, Jodi, Juel & I are holding down the fort!  If you called in on Wednesday- I was the "phone" girl!!! Lol!  So FUN talking to you all when you called in!
