I know we are all savoring the last days of summer, so we thought it was the perfect time to release the last design in our "Chalk it UP!" series of 12!  Our JUNE design a a keeper!  It is perfect for all you Happy Campers out there!!!

  

 If you haven't signed up for our Thimble Blossoms Summer Block of the Week, you still can!  This design is an exclusive and available only to our customers!  This is block #10 and it starts the last row in our quilt!  You can sign up online or call the shop to join!

Wool Scrap Bag Sale, New Releases, Lucky Friday and more!

Greetings from the Basin!  Lots of fun new things to share with you today!  First up-- who doesn't love a SALE?!  Our first ever wool scrap bag sale begins today!  We cut thousands of kits each month and well, sometimes our scrap bins fill to overflowing!  Many of you have asked for wool "scraps" (such a poor choice of wording, since we all know what a TREASURE it is to have those random bits just waiting for our next projects!!).  So, we've made up some wool scrap bags, and for three days only, they are on sale!  Regularly $14.95, on sale for $10, today through Sunday!  Each bag is 6" by 9" and filled with bits and pieces of the very wool we use here in our kits!  It's a fabulous start to a new collection, or to add to an existing stash!  Piece sizes vary but every piece is useable!  Check them out here:      Once again this week, we've added new wool and fabric bundles!  We've been loving our new Japanese fabric, and these cute little wool bundles are to "DYE" for!  (Plus the names are just as cute!  "Sunshiny Day," anyone?  The sun is all that's getting us through these frigid, snowy APRIL days!)  There is also a new thread pack available, with gorgeous spring colors in the softest wool available!  So many fun things! I know you are all anxiously awaiting this month's new releases in your favorite series!  Today we release our May Vintage Table Runner Thru the Year, as well as the May center circle in our Welcome Home Collection! And here is the next Vintage Camper Thru the Year, as well as the most recent from the "Gathered Hearts" series, as well as "Chalk It Up!" WOOLapalooza, NEW Offerings & More!!!!!!!!!

We have lots to catch up on... so let's get started!

First off, I have been busy designing!!!  We have a TON of NEW offerings from new patterns, kits, wool bundles to new thread collections online!  If you haven't visited us lately... now is a GREAT time to!  Not to mention, we are prepping for our BIG "WOOL"apalooza  Online Event starting next Friday!  Lot's of fun things are also on the horizon!

Fist, I am going to share our "Simply Scalloped" monthly mat series with you!  These come in 2 shapes and each month the motif changes to match the month/season!  These are smaller & work up in a jiffy!







We also have added NEW wool bundles & gorgeous threads for you on our website!!







Then we have started a super cool NEW series, called Vintage"Glampers"!  This series is a MUST for all of you who LOVED our Vintage Truck's thru the Year!  These are round mats featuring a different vintage camper each month with monthly themed motifs!!! Too cute!



If you are a fan of embroidery, we are excited to let you know that we are bringing that back to our line as well!  Here is a NEW series called " "Stitch & Piece" Monthly Runners!  It is fun, fresh & even includes some touches of wool!

12 Days of Christmas Days 1 & 2 ON NOW on our website!

Welcome to our first days of our "12 Days of Christmas" Online Event!  Over the next 10 days, you will be able to enjoy new goods, holiday recipes, a FREE puzzle piece to collect and make into a complimentary pattern from us to you and enjoy decorating ideas and more on our website under the "12 Days of Christmas" category!  You won't want to miss out this festive event!  Let the merry making begin!

First, I am going to introduce you to one of my shop gals!  I will be sharing a bit about them and share one of their family recipes and Holiday memories.  Let's meet Diana!  


Diana is our "shipper" gal!  She prints, pulls & packs your orders!  If she has time, she also ships them!  Not only does she do all that... but she prints all the pattern instructions, getting them ready to be folded/packaged!  Talk about a multi tasker!!!  

Diana is also an early riser and starts her day at 7:30 am!  Even though she is fairly new, and after having her here with us for a couple months, I can't imagine how we did it with out her!  She sure keeps thing humming along for us!

Diana has fond memories of putting reindeer dust and carrots outside in the yard and baked delicious cookies to leave out for Santa with a glass of milk.  The kids would make reindeer dust out of dry oatmeal and glitter and sprinkle it out on the ground.  Since the dust has glitter in it, the reindeer can see it from afar!  For some reason Santa would eat his cookies but there always seemed to be a few carrot chunks left in the yard!  We were so excited that Santa had came!

Welcome to Day 2 of our "12 Days of Christmas" Online Event! Today we are offering 3 sets of patterns that are half off, a gorgeous Christmas wool bundle, Home for the Holidays "Chalk it Up!", a darling Winter Barn Ornament & more Holiday offerings & cheer!!!!

Today we celebrated with the locals at our "Ugly Sweater" Party! We had soooo much fun! Those who sported their Holiday sweater revived a FREE pattern! Everyone got the opportunity to draw a piece of paper from a bucket to revive a prize! If you were on the "naughty" list... you got a candy cane {at least it was not a chunk of coal!}... If you were on the "nice" list... you received a bundle of wool! The sweaters were fantastic! Kelly and I both wore the same cat sweater! What a riot! We also decked the halls with sparkly garland and Little Debbie Christmas trees!!! We definitely are making this an annual event at the shop!!!!!!
