I love red work!
I know you didn't ask ~ but I love black work too ~ as long as both have that primitive look.

I prefer prim and aged colors...not a fan of redwork.

I love working redwork patterns but it doesn't have to necessarily be "red"! Thank you for all your hard work that you so willingly share!

Big fan of Red Work. However I think the other one is adorable. H

I like both!!!

I enjoy red work but some patterns I stitch with colours as I feel suits the design. Happy Stitching.

I like redwork and embroidery in a deep brown almost black

Redwork is my first love. I have done bluework and blackwork also but the red is my favorite.

Janet said...

Both! But red edges out color ...

Think I did this on Facebook, but I like red work for some christmas. I also like black work for prim pieces and sometimes i like to add red and green to those.

redwork all the way!

It depends on the pattern. I prefer to do mine in bluework or all one colour.

Hmmm...good question! I guess it must be red work because that's what I've done recently. But I enjoy any type of stitching...

Susan said...

Red work occasionally as a change from all the color. I actually have done that little quilt in red work.

Quiltingranny said...

I like red work because you don't have to change thread as often but I also like colored better on some projects.

Jacqueline said...

Red work for me.

Lewcrese Shields said...

I really love the prim look of the color work, but truthfully it can be stitched any way you want too.

Fran J said...

I love Red Work but it has to be the perfect shade of Red. It's one of my favorites!

Jane said...

Oh my! Tough question! When I look at the two samples I'm loving the colored one! As far as stitching, I love the ease of a single color.......so I'm on the fence here....I love them both!

Colors!

I like the redwork- but the designs are fun both ways.

I love redwork especially the primitive kind!!!

Paula DiMattei said...

I love redwork especially since red is my favorite color. But I think the "colors" lend to a more interesting piece.

Must admit I love both.

I am a huge fan of redwork!! I have your black work monthly pattern, and have that on my list to do in 2015!!
And if course a huge fan of all Buttermilk Basin patterns!
I still have all of my Pitter patterns, also!!

Yes, I love red-work, I love embroidery!

Linda said...

I prefer redwork.

Probably would lean more towards red work or any "one" color. I do like the multi colors in some patterns...but usually prefer a more traditional look. :)

I like colors but I love redwork.

Eva said...

I love redwork, I'm hooked on all colors of hand embroidery whether it is Red, Blue, Green, or multiples.

I LOVE Redwork!!

Donna said...

I love both; although I am seeing the redwork done in Blue in my crazy head.

Barbara said...

I love colours.

Sherry said...

It depends on what I am working on. For example, I prefer the colored version of the pattern you showed; but there are other patterns that I have seen that I would defit
Nicely do in a single color --- whether it be red, blue, black, etc.

Krissy B. said...

I love both! I have collected red work but also found some blue and love it just as much.

scottylover said...

For this pattern, I love the redwork. There are other patterns I like the colors in better. I think it depends on the pattern! :)

I like both.

I like the idea of not changing thread colors--I'm really lazy that way!
But I admit, I get bored when I work with just one color. I love colorful projects!!

Candee said...

I like both, depending on the design.

I like both but lean more toward color! ~Caroline

I love Redwork. Working on a project now.. But guess you would "blue work"

Lorraine said...

I love "one-colour" work - whether it be red/blue/charcoal....I think I am too lazy to change colours! :)

I love red work done in blue--lol!

I love to do redwork, but there are times when I think a project calls for black, blue or multiple colors. I make my decision with each project.

I like redwork but rarely stitch it in red! Usually black or dark brown on a prim background :o)

LoriCR said...

Prefer red but muted or prim red, not the bright red. Try to match it to the fabric first.

Donna W said...

I would have to say - red.

Doreen B said...

I'm always drawn to the red work first. Love prim.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, both!

Love ALL embroidery but especially rework. I like that it is an easy "travel project" in a pouch - fabric, something to snip with and only ONE color of embroidery thread. How easy is that!!

Karen said...

I love redwork! In the image, I love the color.

Karen said...

I have this pattern and I plan on doing it in colors. I love rework too but I thought this would be fun in all the Christmas colors.

I like red work and sometimes I turn the red work into Blue, Green or Black work.. When I do the colors I am now loving crayon coloring along with the stitchery.

Karen said...

I love redwork, but I love the mix of colors in the embroidery too. I am no help if you are trying to make a decision. :-)

Cheryl Baunoch said...

Definitely colors - red included with browns and tans!

Debbie said...

I love rework. It is so pretty and I love putting it into a quilt, pillows or a wall hanging.

Risa said...

I love redwork and bluework and anything hand stitched...just don't have much time to accomplish them!

Wendy said...

I find myself doing more redwork than any other colour. I also like black.

moosecraft said...

I like both... it really depends on the design and also what I'm in the mood to stitch on? I have to confess that I've been thinking of starting a redwork design during the last month.... maybe it's just that Valentines Day is approaching? ;-)

Deb said...

Redwork for me (and blackwork too, love them both!)

Jeanne said...

Very tough decision! I love both of them, but would probably do the redwork first.

Carole said...

I love hand embroidery! Red, black, blue and or multi colour! It is so relaxing!
