LUCKY CAT-ur-day! Good luck!

Happy LUCKY "CAT-ur-day!"  We sent mom off to take a nice warm bubble bath so we could do OUR own {cooler} Saturday/Caturday Giveaway post!  First, I'd like to introduce you to me- the  boss of the Basin...Oliver!  I'm the one in the sweet glasses and fine tie!  Since it's Friday, if you're like me...you're thinking get "meowta" here so you can get to the weekend!  As you can see by the pics- the 4 off us put in long hours this week drawing, erasing, sewing & packing!  "Fureal", we did!  You didn't think mom really does it all, do you?!?  And... we made sure and added our special touch by leaving a little cat hair on the projects so you'd know "FUR" sure which ones we made!!  We really had to get our paws dirty and had to start working because we got sick of looking out the window waiting for mom to come home!  She's always working!  You know we would move "Meowtains" for her!  She loves & takes such good care us fur babies!  Before we started working at the BASIN, it seemed like all we did was eat & sleep while we waited until what felt like "CAT-ur-day" to see her!  We really love our work and are thinking of expanding into yoga wear for cats!  We think we could be on to something big here folks!  😹😹😹OK!!! We better wrap this up in case she gets out of the bath!!!  Since we are curious cats... We want to know what your pets and/or you have been up too!  You could also post a pic of your pets working or playing with you!!!  And be sure to show them my new tie & glasses-Ok?!? The BASIN Crew {Bella, Wilma, Oscar & myself} are giving away 3 patterns of YOUR choice!  Please leave a comment for your chance to win!!!!  Have a "Pawsome" weekend!!!!  Xoxo Oliver

You cats are too funny!!! So nice that you help your Mom. I help my Mom too. I dig nice holes in the yard for all her plants. I clean up all the lawn raisins for her too. I'm Lucy the labradoodle and I rule the house. :-)

I'm the guard dog around here so I keep all other four legged creatures out. But I'm going on 16 years now so I tend to spend a lot of time napping in my favorite spot. Usually on the kitchen floor, in everyone's way, but it's nice and cool on my old bones. My mom says I'm a old man now so I pretty much do what I want and get what I want too. And I still can give a pretty good bark when one of the neighborhood critters gets too close!

Well, Oliver is adorable! We're sadly in a stage of no pets right now, but we've decided that needs to be fixed and are looking forward to adopting a cat. Hopefully, one just as cool as Oliver and his friends! Thanks for a chance to win some of your wonderful patterns!

My name is Jack...I'm the outside neighbor's cat. I stop in at this house for "cookies" at least once a day. I speak loud and rap on the window until the "lady" comes. She has two spoiled rotten indoor fur children. Her girls greet me at the door, but never invite me in. Maybe if I brought presents they might let me in. So pick me and I'll take them presents and just maybe they will invite me in........maybe!!

Well, I'm Sophie and I have a little brother Diesel and we sit on mom's lap while she stitches. We can cause we're little chihuahuas. Then dad brought home a lab mix and she aggravates us, so we're running her away from moms stitching stuff. Have a pawfect weekend!

No pets of our own now but we have 2 granddogs.
Does that count??!!

Love all your patterns.

I'm Chloe...I love your new tie and glasses! I was adopted from a shelter just 6 months ago and came to live with my new family. I have one brother, Smokey. Everyone knows I'm the queen in the house...Smokey doesn't care, he just likes to sleep all day. Me, I like to help my mom with all her projects...she loves when I help knock bobbins on the floor, dump over her garbage cans, but I especially love when she lays all those pretty shapes on the floor for me to lay on...but first I usually have to rearrange them for her. Good times...

Mom posted a video of me yesterday on her IG page trying to embarrass me to all her quilting friends. I wish she would quilt less and play more ball with me! Signed, Busy Bailey

FURR one thing, I like your glasses and tie :o) They look PURRfect on you! My name is Gracie, I'm going to be 2 in July, and it's nice to meet you (even if it's only in blogland). There are 3 other humans that live in my house, but I like Mom the best. She has lots of cool things that I can play with like thread and fabric. And even though I get into her stuff, she says we're still BFF's. Have a wonderFUR weekend!

Haven't had any pets since I lived at home, but Boxo was a lovely Boston Terrier and Gabs was a silver grey miniature Poodle, bot loves of my life. Bozo loved to wander the neighbourhood but would always be waiting for us when we got home. Gabs would pick up her paws and walk delicately when we had that white stuff called snow fall in the winter. Miss them both.

Would love to win a patter or three. Thanks for your generosity.

This is my first time reading your blog and I have to say way too funny with your cats! No pets at my house right now as my son dognapped the family dog when he moved into his first home. Sadly we have cat allergies here so no cats will be found here. I'm keeping my "paws" crossed that you'll take pity on me and pick my name to get three wonderful patterns from your shop.

So instead of "when the cat's away, the mice will play" it's when mom's away all the cats will play. It's good you're so helpful or you would be in trouble. You're too cute!

My name is Bliss. I'm the oldest of three rescue dogs, and the MOST important! I have been blind for about 2 years, but I love laying in my rocking chair"padded of course" in the sewing room while mom is quilting! Mom says to tell you thanks for this great opportunity!

Thank You Oliver. I would love to win 3 patterns. I have a cat and a dog and nether one work for me. The cat just lays on the fabric and the dog wants my attention. Nancy P.

Since it rained Cats and Dogs here today we can't go out and do much in the yard so we are staying in today cutting out a couple of quilts. Karl is chillin while Mommy does her sewing.

Monte here....14 year old cat that adopted the neighbor across the street. She loves me but Mr. isn't fond of me at all. He won't let me in his lap. I rattle the patio door when I want in or sit on the window ledge. I won't even go back across the street anymore so they are stuck with me!

Well, Mr. Oliver your blog was purrfectly wonderful.Let me paws a moment and say how much my mommy loves your Mommy's designs. I am a black lab and I am always sniffing my mom's work.
We also have a visiting black cat from next door, named, what else but Cat. He has green eyes and just a touch of white at the neck. My daddy won't let me play with him. Boohoo.I loved the pictures of your family.Thank you for the chance to win the patterns. My mom and I love Buttermilk Basin. TTYL Pat

I'm Max the long haired dachsy. I follow my mom & sleep at her feet in the sewing room, then to the living room to snuggle while she stitches. She sure loves your mom's designs!

No pets here, though I do love animals. We just recently lost our wonderful granddog Champ....a beautiful, loving Boxer; and have another granddog Shitzhu named Kennedy. Recently, we became grandparents to a long haired kitten named Clover also. Thanks for the giveaway...hope to be the lucky one!

Sadly, we lost our furbaby just before Christmas. I'm not ready to start again. But, we found this great group that trains service dogs and we'll be volunteering with them for a while. At least when I have to say goodbye, I know they'll be off to help someone else for quite a few years.

hi we are Otto & Teddy, 2 dachshunds who help our mom in the sewing room. I (Otto) sleep behind her in the chair to help her keep good posture. Teddy, my new little brother, is a bad boy. Anything that is on the floor mom has to chase him, then crawl under the bed to rescue whatever he took. We play chase and wrestle alot. When you are not working do you play?
oops mom caught me on her computer I have to go. Otto

This is Cleo, Skylar and Koen checking in. Just letting you know that we have been highly successful in having our "owners" (yea, right - who "owns" who?) wrapped around our little paws. Our people family members think it is the other way around, but what do they know? How nice is it to sleep all day long. Life is "Purrfect!"

Knowing you have 4 cats makes me feel better about having 6. :) Why is it that they must lay on the project you placed down for just a minute?

Nancy said...

What a great staff you have helping you out! We don't have a fur baby right now, but love kitties. We had a couple good ones in the past. They lived a pampered life thru old age. Thanks for the chance to win one of your patterns!,
