"LUCKY" FRIDAY! HOP day 6!

Happy "LUCKY" Friday!
First off, how cool was Ali's project?  What a neat mix of mediums!  I don't know if many of you have done much needle felting - but it sure is a fun thing to do and experiment with!  You can add a whole new element to your projects by adding some small touches here and there!  I am sure she can also hook you up with any supplies you may need!  Here is the project for those who are new and have not seen her design yet!
Ali Strebel Designs

Next we have our "LUCKY" Friday giveaway!
Remember... Every FRIDAY is LUCKY FRIDAY on our blog and our FB Page!  This week I have gathered a few general sewing motif designs!  I think everyone can use a few sewing themed designs for their sewing room, right?  So all you need to do to try your luck at winning these 3 patterns... is leave a comment on this post and I will post the LUCKY winner on Saturday's blog post!  Your comment can be as simple as letting me know if you are enjoying or the hop or what your favorite medium to work in is!!  Good luck... Now to the next designer in our hop!!!!

 BLOG HOP DAY 6!
Up next on day 6 is Kathy, from Kathy at Cardiff Farms who is lucky enough to work daily with her daughter!  I think that is pretty special!  I have two daughters and would love to spend my days with them!  OK... I know you are all excited...
so let's get down to the HOP!!!!
Q & A
Tell us briefly about yourself… I’m Kathy Cardiff of The Cottage at Cardiff Farms. My favorite part of my business is that I get to work with my very talented daughter Taylor Olvera.  She is the energy and technical knowledge behind the business.  She tries to keep me on track and has a great sense of humor.  Aside from sewing and creating patterns, I love to cook/bake and garden.
Favorite medium to work in? My favorite medium to work in at this time is wool, whether it be just wool or combining it with other fabrics such as linen or textured cottons.

What inspires you? My inspirations come from my orchard and gardens.  I try to spend as much time as possible outside and love to take photos to hang on my inspiration wall.

Indispensable tool? Valdani variegated perle cotton threads.   Love Love Love them!  I feel like they allow me to add a an additional layer of color to my designs.

Your design style in 3 words? Primitive-ish Cottage Farm

On the drawing board? More wool of course! Lots of new and exciting projects, keep watching...

You collect? Wool and fabric (probably obvious) along with vintage sewing notions, vintage kitchen gadgets, vintage flower frogs and antiques for my home.

On your bucket list? Travel Teaching!

Be sure to click the link and head on over to Kathy's blog and see what spring fling design she has came up with!
