Last night we were heading home and this happened! Needless to say it's been quite the journey... The closest place to rent a car was over 2 hours away.... Life happens! But we're all ok!
That is so sad, it is hard enough that you are on a trip for a funeral, but I can imagine that has not helped. I am glad you are ok though, that is what scares me about driving at night.
So sorry about your accident with the deer. And I am very glad you are all ok. Poor car. I live in the country and have been fortunate not to have had an altercation with the local wildlife. There is plenty running around, I am right next to a state park. I am about to start on one of the bom's and will be thinking even more about you. Take care and stay safe. Pat
