Spring 2010 Quilt Market!

Spring Quilt Market is always my favorite show.  I typically exhibit at this show and enjoy seeing all my designer friends as well as the amazing shop owners who continue to provide us with some of the best selection of fabrics and finds!  


Over the next week I am going to share some of the pics with you (that turned out from my IPhone) starting with some of my booth.  Of course, we were having way too much fun during the week between working the show and going out partying during the evenings - that I forgot to get pics until the last hour of the show (when I look like crap!!!).  I must improve on that next show!  I am sure you are all much like me when it comes to seeing pics...  It is ALL about the pics for me!!!  Again, I was fortunate to have Lisa (Primitive Gatherings) as my booth buddy!  A show is never a disappointment when they are around to give me grief (especially Nick!!!)  


It normally takes me two days to set up my booth.   Most times I have a general idea of what I am going to do or how to set it up - but this time.... I had no clue until we got there and started setting the booth up.  My theme was "Halloween".  Everyone knows I am the "Queen B" of Halloween... So of course, I couldn't be more happier when I am surrounded with all things Halloween.  The designs and booth were well received!  Hopefully you are starting to see the patterns rolling in to your local quilt shop.  If not - be sure to check out our website as the new designs are on there.  We also have kits available for most of the designs!

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Tonight we were going to Valley Fair with the girls....  However, I worked late.  (Bummer) Since VF is almost an hour away - we decided to go see Eclipse.  OMG is all I can say!  I am not one to spoil movies so you won't get details from me.  But... I can tell you that it ROCKED and we have 2 "team Jacob", 1 "team Edward" and one "undecided" in our family!!!  Some of us are excited and some of us want the plot to change!  Hope you find time to get out and see the movie this weekend!  You won't be disappointed!

MN Quilt Show

Greetings MN Quilt Show Attendees!

How fun was it to see all of you at the show?!  It was my first retail show and you all sure knew how to break me in!  It was a great show and I had a blast chatting with all of you!  You ALL need to come hang out at the studio!  It would be so much fun!!!!  (And yes, that means the 3 gals who sat next to us at LaCasita!! *PS -I hope your husband enjoyed the Grandma's marathon!!!!) 

As most of you know, I normally do not do retail shows... and are used to seeing me at the International Quilt Markets.  Well - the girls are getting a little older and I am spreading my wings into the retail shows.  We will be heading to Iowa and Wisconsin this fall!  I can't wait!  It will be tough to beat the hometown crowd - but you never know! :-)

Hats off to Lisa from Primitive Gatherings.  She is now kitting up my new designs in her awesome wool!  We premiered them at the show.  You will surely want to stop by the website on Monday and order yourself some!  They are great!  We will be adding the "links" to order them on the BB website this weekend!

Not only did she kit up my designs, she was my booth buddy at the show along with Emily from Emily's Country Cottage.  I could not have asked for better people to hang with!  Thanks guys for a fun show!

Flower Buckets

It is June 24th and I am finally getting my pots ready for the summer!  Normally I have everything planted in May.  This spring has been busy with trade shows so now is the time!  I love to plant flowers in vintage buckets... especially buckets that are rusted and aged.  This is one of my favorite buckets.  I am heading back to the flower mart tomorrow with my two girls to pick out some more flowers!!!  Hope it is a nice day!

WELLLLL...  Quilt Market ROCKED and we had a blast!  Much to tell over the next week or so...  


I also want to send out a BIG THANK YOU to all the shop owners for all the LAUGHS and FUN!  We truly loved seeing and visiting with each and everyone of you!  You customers are VERY lucky to have them!
