Paula Deen Goulash Recipe!

I am addicted to Pinterest!  So tonight, I had to try out another recipe!  It was DELISH! ...so I thought I would share it with each of you!  Now back to the pumpkin carving!!!

Bobby's Fav Goulash

Saute the ground beef over medium-high heat until cooked...
Drain grease, add onions and garlic to the pot and saute until they are tender.
Add 3 cups water, the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce, House Seasoning, and seasoned salt.

Add the macaroni...
Mix well, cover and all to simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Bobby’s Favorite Goulash

Ingredients:
1/2 T Paula Deen’s House Seasoning
3 T soy sauce
3 bay leaves
2 T Italian seasoning
2 (15-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
(15-ounce) cans tomato sauce
3 cups water
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 large onions, chopped
2 lbs  lean ground beef
1 tsp Paula Deen’s Seasoned Salt
2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
I added 1 cup frozen corn

Directions:
In a Dutch oven or large pot, saute the ground beef over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Break up the meat while sauteing. Spoon off any grease.

Add the onions and garlic to the pot and saute until they are tender, about 5 minutes.

Add 3 cups water, along with the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce, House Seasoning, and seasoned salt. Stir well. If adding mixed veggies or corn add them now.

Place a lid on the pot and allow this to cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Add the elbow macaroni, stir well, return the lid to the pot, and simmer for about 15 - 20 minutes.

Turn off the heat, remove the bay leaves, and allow the mixture to sit about 15 minutes more before serving. Serve with garlic bread and a salad. Paula's House Seasoning Recipe:
1 - cup salt
1/4 - cup black pepper
1/4 - cup garlic powder

Mix ingredients together and store in an airtight
container for up to 6 months.

Halloween Party/Market

Happy Halloween!
This time of year is always bittersweet for me!  It is my favorite time of the year hands down!  It is the start to the Holiday Season in my books!  It's also time for our Annual Halloween Party!  For me- I have two young girls at home and each fall I have to choose between going to exhibit at Fall Quilt Market/Festival or choose to stay home with the family and continue on our tradition with the girls... Even tho I love what I do, and do hope one day to vend at fall market... I can honestly say nothing can compare to seeing the kiddos each year all smiles and in their silly costumes!  It warms my heart and makes me giggle!  We always have a blast, enjoy home cooked goodies, spooktacular games and just enjoy catching up and seeing how much each of them has grown from year to year!  So for now...  I will treasure these memories and take pride in being a good momma! ;). Happy Halloween! :)

Most of the kiddos and their candy coated pumpkins! :)

Women of the West Quilter's Guild

Happy Tuesday!

Today was a crazy busy day!
I finished up a bunch of orders but there were two large orders with a combined weight of over 100 pounds!  Whew!  I never pay much attention to what I send out each day- but it sure made me wonder just how many patterns it takes to reach 100 pounds!!! :)

Then I stripped down the shop, packed up my pumpkin (orange Ford Edge!!!) and headed to the Medina Entertainment Center to do a lecture/trunk show for the Women of the West Quilter's Guild.  I missed out on joining them for supper... but did manage to get there in plenty of time to set up my goods and trunk show.  The gals were very warm and welcoming! I had such a great time and want to thank the guild for having me- and especially Lori for making it happen!  The down part is... that I forgot to take pictures!  Darn it! I hate when I do that!!!!  I am always willing to travel if your guild is looking for a gal like me!!!

So... since I didn't get any pics to share... here is a little picture of the "spooky" guy that greets me at the shop each day!!!  And oh- I am trying to get my hands of some copies of the Simply Vintage magazine as I have had so many requests since I posted yesterday... I will keep you posted!

Simply Vintage Magazine!

If you have not subscribed to the new Simply Vintage FRENCH Publication - you should!
It features some of your favorite designers including myself!
My project is featured on page 66!
This is a new magazine brought to you by Quiltmania!
Even though it is in French...
...it is still a fabulous magazine!!!
