Hey!  Here are some pics (thanks to Karin!) from our Witches Nite Out a couple of weeks ago!  Thanks to all my wonderful customers for coming out and enjoying time with wool & fiber!  The shop looked fantastic!  I hope to post some pics of that later... Fall-O-Ween event is near... Show this week!

Welcome to a fresh new week! 

This weekend I had my family, our neighbor girl and a friend over to the shop helping me fill my rep orders, pull the models and stock the patterns for my show in Fargo this week!  I can't believe the amount of work it takes to get prepped for the show!  It is crazy!  I have so much wool I am adding a cupboard and will be bringing 3 of them full of hand dyed wool in fat 1/8ths and fat quarters.  I am still trying to finish up a few kits but I am sloooowly running out of time!  I am pretty good at making things come together so don't be surprised if I get a few more done!  I also got in new patterns and hand dyed buttons, and some fabulous table runners!  I also received some darling handmade Halloween ornaments from spiders to cats!!!.  You should see the new Valdani Floss - FABULOUS! I really fell in love with some of their new fall colors!  I can not wait to use a new display piece for them!  I think it should work out so nice!  

I also want to let you know that word is getting out on how cool and fun my parties/events are!  Gals are once again coming from far and near for the Fall-O-Ween event.  If you haven't thought about whether or not you are coming - especially to the Witches Night Out - now would be a great time to drop me an email and let me know. I am working on the make it take its for the weekend and have something fun for the party and would like to finalize my count soon!  It will be first come so please RSVP to me if you are coming!  Get those witches hats out and rock em! :)  If you already RSVP'ed, I have you down!  I have bought the coolest paper products for the party... Maybe I will pop a pic of it before I leave town.  Trust me everyone loves my parties so I hope you can come!  I also have roped my pal Julie into baking for us!  How cool is that!  Better go...  I am working on a few more kits before I go to bed!!!  Hope you have a fantastic week!  I will be in touch and I hope to see many of you at the Fargo Quilt Show later this week!!!!

Buttermilk Basin Events!

Happy September!
This past week has been a blur!  Between working long hours at the studio, my computer needing to go in for repair (while trying to get my new website to go live)... to orders flying in for all those fabulous quilt shows that are all around the country - I am having a blast & running on low sleep!  More importantly, I am also trying to enjoy these last summers with my family before the girls go back to school! 

This is going to be a great year for the girls!  Hannah is starting 9th grade (her first year of high school)!  She has a big load - she is starting to take her first few collage courses... Crazy!  It blows my mind!  She is also very eclectic in her style - it has been so fun to shop with her for her new school wear!  She LOVES Converse and has way too many to count!  My youngest daughter Grace will be going into 6th grade!  She will now be a big middle schooler!  This is her first year to have her own school locker - so of course, she had to get the coolest stuff to deck it out!  I can not believe how fast they are growing up!

If you are a Minnesotan like me - you would look forward to this time of year also because it is State Fair time!  And let me tell you... We have the best fair and way too many "goodies on a stick" to count!  We have been there 4 times with our last time being tomorrow (which is also the last day)!  We have tried new foods like the deep fried cream cheese filled olives, enjoyed some favorites like the strawberry & creme crepes, deep fried cheese curds, Sweet Martha's cookies (mine are better if you ask me!), and hit a couple concerts including Macklemore with the girls.  The weather this past week was hot and humid... It finally cooled off last night and should be nice again tomorrow!

On a work note- I couldn't wait to get this Country Register newspaper ad up on the blog.  I am so pumped to have 2 amazing events for you!  These will reflect my two favorite Holidays... Halloween & Christmas!  I will be completely re-doing the shop for each event.  I have been ordering lots of new yummy colored wool, folkart and even made a few things too!  I also have designed new patterns to be released at each event.  There is so much more to talk about in these upcoming weeks as the events come closer!!! I really hope you each can make it because you are going to have a blast!  Get your brooms out and get ready to fly on over to the Witches Night Out!  I will be trying my new recipes I have searched high and low for just for that night!  I can't wait!!!

NEW GOODS & Club starting!

Hey!  Happy Monday! 

 

I have been hanging out in the studio getting ready for all the excitement this week!  It is open house week and we kick off our new Clubs!  We are so pumped with the response - You gals continue to blow us away by your awesome support!  We really have made some "good goods" for you all!  And the food for those of you coming to the shop... Trying out some new Pinterest recipes... It has just gotta be delish!  Hurry up Saturday!!!

 

The shop is set except for primping up the classroom!  I have been greeting the UPS and USPS man daily... I will have tons of new goods and Karen always does a great job with complimenting what I offer.  Keep in mind she will bringing her fabric down this time too!  And - more wooden delights!!  Both of us will work hard each month to switch the shop up a bit and offer you new and exciting patterns, wools and such..  Here is a sampling of what will be new this week:

NEW CLUBS! Sign up Today!

Fun fun fun!!!  The phones have been ringing and the emails keep coming so I thought I better put the info online to let everyone know you are all welcome to join our new clubs!  We are already filled up for the Saturday morning session so we added an additional session on Friday eve.  We aim to please!!!  :)

For those of you who are out of state - this is your chance to participate in our crazy fun madness!  Both clubs will be over the top as usual!!!!  Again - we are so excited we can hardly stand it!!!

If you have any questions please feel free to email me at anytime.  If you are thinking about joining, I would suggest you do not wait to RSVP as space is limited!  And we can only accommodate 2 sessions.

Again - we are soooo excited for them to start in January!  If you are in the area... remember the shop is open on Thursdays along with one weekend a month!
